With tears rolling down your face

And then just leave this place
This “home” where you’ve been
Throughout your teenage years
How can you tell someone how much they mean
While holding back they tears
I take one last look around
Before I have to go
I thought I could stay forever
And never have to go
Now I realize what it means
When someone says forever
All of this has made me see
That forever is really never.

Who’s always there
When I’m down and blue
She’s someone I can run to
She pushes me along
With a little shove
As she smiles at me
And shows her love
She’s there when I need her
When I need a hand to hold
She pulls me back up on my feet
She’s my savior who’s brave and bold
She’s a friend who really means it
Who saves me when I’m in a fit
She’s the best anyone could receive
Because you know it’s true when she says, “I’m never gonna leave.”

I’m like a book, don’t judge me by my cover, open my pages and you will soon discover, it’s not how I act that determines who I am, it’s what’s inside that counts and what will jam.
Although my cover is old and tattered, my pages are bold and flattered, if only you take the time, my pages tell a story, about my life and history.
Books come in many different types, as well as you and me, some are creative, some are imaginative and some are just plain silly. But that’s not all.
Even though some books are fiction, some come together like friction, the ride may be bumpy getting there,
